Sofina Foods is part of Tent Canada, exploring opportunities to help refugees enter the labor market, including through employment or job preparation.

Since 2022, Sofina Foods has hired 100 Afghan and Ukrainian refugees from four major provinces in Canada.  The company has also trained refugees at their Sofina Knife School, which provides training on critical butchery skills. Sofina Foods aims to connect even more refugees across Canada to hiring and training opportunities.
